Discover our Top School Child Benefits

Hello and Welcome to Red Hills Academy Charter School!

My name is Shannon Paasch and I am so excited to introduce myself as your Principal. I am honored and humbled to take part in your child’s educational journey.

I was born and raised right here in Tallahassee, Florida and while I spent some time away, I am thrilled to be returning home! I am a graduate from Flagler College with a degree in Elementary Education as well as a graduate from UWF with a master’s in Educational Leadership.

I began my teaching career in 2010 in the Tampa Bay area, where I taught for 7 years in 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 5th grade. I then spent 4 years as an assistant principal before moving back home to Tallahassee.

At Red Hills Academy we strongly believe in a whole child approach while actively building relationships with not only the students, but with the families and community as well. We strive to provide a challenging learning environment that includes a second language; coupled with a family feel where we celebrate our successes and learn from our mistakes. My door is always open and I look forward to partnering with you to support your child as they continue to learn and grow.

I look forward to meeting each and every one of you as we make the 2022-2023 school year the best one yet!
